Reliance Consumer Products to acquire majority stakes in Udhaiyams Agro Foods
Reliance Group's FMCG arm, Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL), has acquired a majority stake in Tamil Nadu’s Udhaiyams Agro Foods Private Limited. Under this joint venture (JV) RCPL will hold a controlling stake, while Udhaiyams’ existing promoters will retain a minority holding.
Udhaiyams Agro Foods is estimated to be a Rs 668-crore business.
