Jaya Hind Industries plans expansion of Chennai facility
Die-casting manufacturer Jaya Hind Industries is eyeing expansion. The firm has conducted the groundbreaking ceremony for the expansion of its manufacturing facility. Under the expansion, the firm would invest Rs 200 crore to set up advanced High Pressure Die Casting machines.
As per the firm's expansion at the facility in Kottaiyur Village in neighbouring Thiruvallur district would produce High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) machines ranging from 1,400 to 4,400 tonnes. Further, the firm is also setting up a shed spread across 13,000 square metres that would house advanced die-casting machines along with expanded machining capacity, enabling the facility to operate as an integrated manufacturing unit.
