Rs 50,000 Crore to be invested by Sterlite Power
Leading integrated power transmission developer and solutions provider, Sterlite Power has plans to invest Rs 50,000 crore in the renewable energy sector in Karnataka. The investment would be made over the next 5 years. This investment will increase the renewable capacity by 10-fold in the state. Vedanta group, which owns Sterlite Power is currently building over 1,000-megawatt wind/solar hybrid projects in Karnataka.
