Uttar Pradesh plans to develop Japan City and Singapore City
Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has sent a proposal to the government of Uttar Pradesh for the development of Japan City and Singapore City in the state.
This comes ahead of the state's chief minister, Yogi Adityanath’s visit to Japan and Singapore, which is likely next month. As per the Hindustan Times, the idea is to set up dedicated industrial areas for the two countries by earmarking a large chunk of land for them in Greater Noida.
