Coal India bags order worth over Rs 2831 crore for solar project in Uttar Pradesh
Government-owned Coal India Limited (CIL) has bagged an order worth Rs 2,831.11 crore from Uttar Pradesh. The project is awarded by a joint venture of NHPC Ltd and Uttar Pradesh New & Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA).
The work involves the development of a 600 MW solar power plant at Jalaun Solar Park. It will comprise two 300 MW units and a power purchase pact for electricity supply at Rs 2.73 per kWh.
