IBC to ifnuse Rs 8,000 crore, to set new manufacturing plant
Leading battery maker International Battery Company (IBC) signed an investment pact worth Rs 8,000 crore with the Karnataka government. The firm would build a battery manufacturing facility in the state. Karnataka state’s Minister for Commerce & Industries, Infrastructure, MB Patil made the announcement.
The plant will be located near Bengaluru and would produce lithium-ion cells.
