NTPC to set up new facility in Andhra Pradesh's Amaravati
Government-owned thermal power firm NTPC has plans to set up a facility in Andhra Pradesh's capital city of Amaravati. The firm has signed a lease agreement with Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA).
This deal is significant as the Andhra Pradesh state government is working to position Amaravati as a centre for major institutions, public sector organisations, and administrative infrastructure.
