KoPT's Solar Project Commissioned By Vikram Solar
Solar power firm Vikram Solar has informed the commissioning of a 1MW solar plant for Kolkata Port Trust (KoPT). This is the first solar plant located at the Haldia Dock Complex. Minister of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal integrated the project.Â
The project is expected to generate 1.4 million units of green energy per year and reduce approximately 1,260 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually.
