Mumbai Pune Expressway Project: 4 bidders submit bids
Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has informed that 4 civil engineering firms have submitted bids to connect the operational Mumbai Pune Expressway (MPE) and under construction Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL) in Maharashtra.
The six-lane project involves the construction of 2 elevated roads linked by an 11 km portion of the existing JNPT Highway (NH-348A). Bidders for the project are:
- Gawar Construction Ltd.
- GR Infraprojects Ltd.
- Larsen & Toubro Ltd.
- PNC Infratech Ltd.
The scope of the work involves the construction of an elevated Corridor from the Mumbai Pune Expressway to the MTHL Interchange at Chirle From NH 48 Km 105+400 to Km 108+150 and from NH 348 Km 12+500 to Km 17+100.
