Rs 6,000 Crore Turnover Eyed By Luminous, Rs 500 Crore Investment Planned
Leading Power Solutions Company Luminous has said that it is eyeing to achieve a target of Rs 6,000 crore turnover in the next 5 years. The firm is aiming to drive this turnover from solar and the home electrical businesses. The firm which is now owned by French engineering company SchneiderElectric is also planning to invest Rs 500 crore in the next 3 years.
The amount would be used for raising manufacturing capacity and boosting logistics as well as marketing. Schneider had acquired a 74 percent stake in Luminous Power in 2011 and later acquired the remaining 26 percent in 2017.Â
