TNGECL floats tenders for wind-solar hybrid projects
The Tamil Nadu Green Energy Corporation Limited (TNGECL) has floated an e-tender for a wind-solar hybrid renewable energy project. These tenders focus on repowering an existing wind power plant of 18.75 MW and developing a new 16 MW solar power plant.
It would form a combined wind-solar project with a total planned output of 34.75 MW. The work of the project is to be done in Kayathar Taluk in the Tuticorin District, Muppandal in Thovalai Taluk of Kanyakumari District, and Puliyankulam in Thisayanvilai in the Tirunelveli District. Work is to be done under the Build-Own-Operate model.
