Agra Metro: UPMRC invites bids for Line 2 project
Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) has floated a tender inviting bids for the 1st civil construction contract of Agra Metro Phase 1’s 15.40 km Line-2 which will connect Agra Cantonment and Kalindi Vihar via 15 stations.
The package AGCC-02’s viaduct will connect Agra Cantonment Station with Sanjay Place via 7 elevated stations at Agra Cantt, Sadar Bazar, Pratap Pura, Collectorate, Agra College, Hariparvat Chauraha and Sanjay Place. I estimate it to be approximately 6.8 km long end to end.
The scope of work involves the construction of an elevated viaduct and 07 Nos. elevated stations (viz. Agra Cantt, Sadar Bazar, Pratap Pura, Collectorate, Agra College, Hariparvat chauraha, and Sanjay Place metro stations) including Civil, Architectural Finishes, Water Supply, Sanitary Installation, Drainage, External Development, Fire Fighting, Fire Detection, E&M works and PEB structures of Corridor2 of Agra Metro at Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India.
The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 696.53 Crore with a period of completion of 30 months and the last date for bid submission is April 12, 2023.
