Subansiri Lower Hydro Project: NHPC begins commercial operation from fourth unit
Government-owned NHPC has informed of the commencement of the commercial supply of electricity from the fourth unit of the Subansiri Lower Hydroelectric Project. The 2,000 MW project is located in North Lakhimpur on the border of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam.
It is being developed for Rs 27,000 crores and comprises eight units of 250 MW each.
