Google signs lease for 3.81 lakh sq ft data centre
Tech-giant Google has entered into an agreement to pick up a data center spread over 3.81 lakh sq ft in Navi Mumbai. The data center is leased through a long-term lease of over 28 years. Google has inked the deal through its affiliated company Raiden Infotech India and will be paying rentals worth over Rs 1,144 crore.
Microsoft and Amazon apart from Google have already started setting up their hyperscale data centers in India indicating the rising preference for India among global data center majors.
