Green Hydrogen pilot project: Kerala gets funding worth over Rs 34 crore
Kerala has got funding worth Rs 34.84 crore for its green hydrogen pilot project in the transport sector. As per updates Ministry of New And Renewable Energy (MNRE) is funding and ARAI (Automotive Research Association of India) is approving the project on behalf of MNRE.
The total project cost is estimated at Rs 40 crores, with Rs 34.85 crores – (which is about 90 percent) – supported through viability gap funding (VGF) under the scheme. Thiruvananthapuram to Kochi and Kochi to Edappaly are the 2 routes sanctioned under the scheme.
