Hindustan Power bags order to develop solar project with energy storage system
Energy sector firm Hindustan Power has bagged an order from state-owned SJVN. The order is for the development of a 100 MW solar project to be set up along with a 200 megawatt-hour (MWh) battery energy storage system.
The project was bagged through a tariff-based competitive bidding, followed by a successful e-reverse auction. This project is a part of the 1200 MW ISTS-connected Solar PV power projects with 600 MW/2400 MWh Energy Storage Systems (ESS) to be set up anywhere in India.
