NTT India to invest USD 2 billion in data centres
IT infrastructure firm NTT India has earmarked around USD 2 billion to boost information and communications technology infrastructure in India in the next 3-4 years. The aim is to tap the rise in data consumption. The CAPEX would go into building new data centers, cloud computing, submarine cable landing stations, and solar parks.
NTT Data Inc is also exploring the idea of setting up a submarine cable landing station in Kolkata.
