Tata Power chalks out Rs 60,000 crore investment plan
The power arm of Tata Group, Tata Power has planned to invest Rs 60,000 crore over the next 3 years. Almost half of the investment would be in the renewables sector.
Tata Power avoiding new coal-based thermal power capacity, aims to invest Rs 15,000 crore in FY24, escalating to Rs 23,000 crore in FY27. The investment includes two hydel pumped storage projects (PSP) of 2,800 MW and identifies three more potential sites with a cumulative capacity of up to 9,000 MW.
