4.6-acres land acquired by RBI in Mumbai
The central bank of the country, Reserve Bank of India (RBI), has acquired a 4.61-acre land parcel at Nariman Point in South Mumbai from the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (MMRCL).
This deal is done for Rs 3,472 crore for the land, which is strategically located near key government and corporate offices. MMRCL aims to monetize land parcels to support Mumbai's metro expansion.
