Adani Power lays the foundation for Rs 48,000 crore thermal power project in Dhubri
The subsidiary of Adani Group, Adani Power Ltd, laid the foundation of its thermal power project in Assam on Sunday. The state's Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, laid the foundation for a Rs 48,000-crore, 3,200 MW ultra-supercritical thermal power plant at Chapar in Dhubri.
The project is part of the Rs 1 lakh crore investment commitment made by Adani Group in the Northeast over the next decade.
