LTSCT and Tata Electronics join hands to develop semiconductor chips in India
L&T Semiconductor Technologies Limited (LTSCT) has entered into a strategic partnership with Tata Electronics for the development of semiconductor chips in India. The aim is to build domestic design and manufacturing capabilities to cater to next-generation product requirements across automotive, industrial, communications, security, and intelligent-edge sectors, according to a joint statement by the two firms.
The partnership brings together fabless chip design innovation of LTSCT and semiconductor packaging and foundry capabilities of Tata Electronics.
