Samvardhana Motherson signs MoU with Tamil Nadu Government for investment of Rs 11,000 crore
Global automotive component maker Samvardhana Motherson International Limited (SAMIL) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu government. Under the MoU, SAMIL, along with its European and UK-based joint venture companies, will invest Rs 11,000 crore in the state over the next 5 years.
Further, the state government signed an MoU with Ernst & Young to facilitate the establishment of a Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Tamil Nadu with an investment of Rs 1,000 crore.
