91 acres land allocaed by Andhra Government for logistics park to support Google's AI project in Visakhapatnam
The state government of Andhra Pradesh has allocated 91.38 acres at Kanamam village in Visakhapatnam for the development of a logistics and light industrial park to support the warehousing and storage requirements of Google’s proposed India AI Hub in the city.
As per the government, the land is allocated to Ecobox Industrial Asset IV Private Limited for the project that is likely to require an investment of Rs 1,008 crore. The firm is the preferred development partner of Google for the project.
The logistics and light industrial park will have a total built-up area of 19.45 lakh sq. ft. across 44.65 acres. Further, the firm has received permission to use about five to seven acres within the project for networking and connectivity infrastructure to support the broader data centre ecosystem.
