Envision Group plans to build battery making plant in India
Chinese multinational firm Envision Group is planning to develop a battery-making plant in India. The firm plans to invest $34 million in the project with the aim of getting 5 GWh annual capacity to support the country's renewable energy grid upgrades.
The plan is to localise the rack and software infrastructure, while procuring cells from China.
