Lucknow Metro: work on East-West corridor to begin
The work on the East-West corridor under Phase 1B of the Lucknow Metro project is set to move forward. Proposed project that stretches 11.2 km has received clearance for the work in Old Lucknow.
This corridor would connect Charbagh to Vasant Kunj, navigating through space-constrained neighborhoods. The plan is to begin construction in February 2026.
