Hindalco plans to double the capacity of its Sambalpur smelter
Aditya Birla Group firm, and the world's largest aluminium rolling and recycling company, Hindalco Industries, has plans to double the capacity at its aluminium smelter in Odisha’s Sambalpur.
The firm will invest Rs 21,000 crore in the project. This project is a part of the Aditya Birla Group's growth strategy in India, where it plans to spend Rs 55,000 crore across several projects over the next few years.
