Saatvik Green to invest Rs 7,000 crore on expansion plan
Gurugram-based solar module maker Saatvik Green Energy has plans to invest Rs 7,000 crore by 2028. The investment will go towards expansion as the firm aims to become a fully integrated clean energy company.
Under phase 1 of the expansion, the firm plans to develop a fully integrated manufacturing complex in Odisha comprising a 6 GW ingot, wafer, and solar cell facility, along with a 4 GW module manufacturing plant. It will also expand its facility in Ambala.
As per the firm, phase 1 of the expansion will require an investment of around Rs 3,500 crore, with the remainder going towards ingot and wafer manufacturing.
