Delhi-Noida expressway: Authorities change plan, revise the alignment of expressway
The eight-lane elevated expressway connecting Delhi to the Noida International Airport has undergone significant change. Noida Authority and the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) have decided to revise the alignment, with the project now set to begin from the DND Flyway instead of Sector 94.
This revision is designed to run along the Yamuna Pushta, providing an alternative high-speed transport corridor capable of handling increasing traffic volumes. It is expected to increase the corridor's length by around five kilometres.
The project is planned to begin from the DND Flyway and extend through Noida and Greater Noida before connecting with the Yamuna Expressway near Chi-4 in Greater Noida.
