NH-66: NHAI floats tender worth Rs 959 crore for saftey upgrades
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has floated an EPC tender worth Rs 959.25 crore for a major safety-focused upgrade to the ongoing six-laning of NH 66. As per the tender, the work involves the construction of 12 viaducts, a cut-and-cover tunnel, and additional pedestrian underpasses on the Kazhakkoottam–Kadampattukonam section in Keralam.
These viaducts will be developed at Technopark Phase-IV, CRPF Pallipuram, and Mamom near Attingal bypass. Reports from ETInfra.com mention that the stretch is already under construction as part of the NH 66 widening programme. The work is executed by Pune-based RKC Infrastructure Ltd.
