India's first hydrogen train: PM Modi likey to inaugurate the train this month
PM Modi is very likely to inaugurate the country's first hydrogen-run train by the end of this month. The train will run on the Jind-Sonipat route in Haryana, and its speed trials are at an advanced stage.
A dedicated hydrogen fueling plant has already been established at Jind to support train operations. Post-inauguration, India will join the list of nations like Germany, Sweden, France, and China that have hydrogen train systems.
