Jaipur Metro: Rajasthan CM performs groundbreaking for phase 2 work
The chief minister of Rajasthan, Bhajanlal Sharma, performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the Jaipur Metro Phase-2 project. Sharma inaugurated the piling work at the metro depot in Sitapura, kicking off the work on the 41-km-long Phase-2 corridor.
Estimated to cost Rs 13,037 crore, Phase 2 of the project will run from Prahladpura to Todi Mod, connecting key industrial and residential areas. It will comprise 36 stations, with 34 elevated and 2 underground near the airport stretch.
