PDA plans a township along the Prayagraj-Rewa highway
The Prayagraj Development Authority (PDA) is planning to develop a high-tech township spread over 400 hectares near the Iradatganj airstrip in Ghoorpur along the Prayagraj-Rewa highway.
According to The Economic Times, the project layout includes parks, parking spaces, and other basic infrastructure, with four to five blocks planned for the township. The project will have plots of different sizes, while flats under group housing may also be developed according to demand.
This development comes after the Union Civil Aviation Ministry wrote a letter to the state government of Uttar Pradesh directing it to remove encroachments from the airstrip land and take necessary measures to repair and protect the property.
