Adani Group plans to develop 2 nuclear power projects in Odisha
Multinational diversified business firm Adani Group has submitted a proposal to the Odisha government to set up two nuclear-power plants, each with a capacity of 2,800 megawatts (MW) in the state.
These projects are expected to require an investment of Rs 1.5 trillion and are at the centre of India’s next phase of nuclear-power expansion. The firm is also looking to set up an ultra-supercritical thermal-power plant and a series of pumped storage power projects in the state.
