BHEL enters strategic tie-up with Hystar AS for PEM electrolyser
Government-owned BHEL has signed a strategic tie-up with Norway-based Hystar AS for the manufacture of PEM electrolyser systems. The tie-up strengthens BHEL’s position as one of the few Indian players capable of offering both alkaline and PEM electrolyser solutions.
The agreement follows BHEL’s strategic tie-up with thyssenkrupp nucera India Private Limited for alkaline electrolyser systems. Both agreements represent a major step forward in support of the National Green Hydrogen Mission.
