Mamallapuram to get Rs 100 crores for devlopment of world class infrastructure
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin informed that Rs 100 crores would be invested in Mamallapuram. The idea is to develop a Special Area Development Authority (SADA) for the UNESCO Heritage town, aimed at building world-class infrastructure.
This would be a part of the bigger initiative aimed at positioning Tamil Nadu as a global destination for art and cultural tourism.
