Vizhinjam Seaport project: Adani Group to invest Rs 16,000 crores in phase 2
Adani Group firm, Adani Ports & SEZ (APSEZ), has plans to invest Rs 16,000 crore towards phase 2 of the Vizhinjam seaport project in Kerala. Phase 2 work was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan, last week on Saturday.
The project will significantly increase the port's capacity and introduce advanced automation. Phase 2 will add 4.1 million Twenty-foot Equivalent Units (TEUs) to the existing capacity of the port.
