Madhya Pradesh government to sign agreements for 4,000 MW thermal power production
The government of Madhya Pradesh is set to sign 3 agreements for the production of 4,000 MW of thermal power. These projects will take an investment of Rs 60,000 crores, for which agreements will be signed with Adani Power and Torrent Power, among others.
The projects will be established in Anuppur district, with power supply expected from 2030. As per updates, Hindustan Thermal Projects Limited has been allocated 800 MW, Torrent Power Limited 1,600 MW, and Adani Power Limited 800 MW, with an additional 800 MW under the greenshoe option.
