Ultraviolette to develop new EV making facility in Hosur
Bengaluru-based Electric two-wheeler (EV) maker Ultraviolette has plans to set up a new manufacturing facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. According to the firm, the new facility, named BIGGA (Big Global Ambition) Factory, will have an annual production capacity of 250,000 vehicles in phases and will produce the Tesseract electric scooter and future models.
The facility will be designed to scale production to 500,000 vehicles annually as demand grows.
