IHG Hotels & Resorts signs new resort in Kanatal
Multinational hospitality firm IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of a new resort in Kanatal, Uttarakhand. The firm signed a franchise agreement with Yamini Marketing (OPC) Pvt. Ltd. for the development of voco Resort Kanatal.
The 92-key resort will offer access to nearby attractions including Kaudia Forest, Surkanda Devi Temple and Tehri Lake, while creating a relaxed base for guests to experience the region’s quieter pace, natural beauty and growing leisure appeal. The property features thoughtfully appointed guestrooms, meeting and event spaces, and three dining options, including an all-day dining restaurant, specialty restaurant, and bar.
The guests will have access to a swimming pool, spa, fitness centre, and kids' play area. This signing underscores IHG's focus on expanding its premium portfolio in strategically important leisure and resort destinations.
