Dassault Aviation to develop new manufacturing hub in India
French aircraft maker Dassault Aviation is planning to develop a secondary global manufacturing hub in India. The firm has production and manufacturing facilities in Nagpur and Hyderabad and plans to convert them into a manufacturing hub.
These facilities were set up as part of a deal for the potential acquisition of 114 Rafale fighter jets under the Multi-Role Fighter Aircraft (MRFA) programme that was signed between India and France.
The proposed hub would also supply advanced Rafale jets to future international clients across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
