Japan signs MoU with Uttar Pradesh government for green hydrogen technologies
Japan has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the government of Uttar Pradesh for cooperation in the green hydrogen sector. The MoU was signed by the Uttar Pradesh New & Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) and aims to explore technology collaboration, capacity building, and investment opportunities in the emerging clean-energy sector.
It is expected to draw on Japan’s technological expertise and Yamanashi’s innovation ecosystem as Uttar Pradesh looks to develop a stronger ecosystem for green-energy technologies through research, skills, and industry linkages.
