Jindal Cement plans capacity expansion, to invest Rs 3,000 crores
Jindal Group's cement-making arm, Jindal Cement, has planned an expansion of production capacity. The firm prepares to quadruple its production capacity to 10 million tonnes, with an investment of around Rs 3,000 crores. This investment will be made over two to three years and is aimed at enhancing the output from its Raigarh and Angul plants.
Currently, the firm has an annual grinding capacity of 2.5 million tonne - 1 million tonne at its plant at Raigarh in Chhattisgarh, and 1.5 million tonne at Angul in Odisha.
