NLC India and PTC India to form joint venture for green energy projects
The wholly owned subsidiary of NLC India Limited and Power Trading Major PTC India Limited has formed a joint venture (JV) for the development of green energy projects with a total capacity of up to 2,000 MW across India. NLC would hold 74% stakes in the JV.
The focus of JV would be on renewable energy ventures, including solar, wind, hydro, and battery energy storage systems, among other clean energy initiatives. These projects will be executed in a phased manner and will be subject to the requisite statutory and regulatory approvals.
