SJVN signs PPA with Solar energy corporation for supply of wind power
Hydroelectric power generation company SJVN Ltd has signed a pact with Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) to supply 200 MW of wind power. A power purchase agreement (PPA) for a 200 MW grid-connected wind power project is signed by a wholly-owned subsidiary of SJVN, SJVN Green Energy Ltd (SGEL).
SGEL participated in the tariff-based competitive bidding process conducted by SECI to select wind power developers for setting up 1,200 MW grid-connected wind power projects anywhere in India.
