Varanasi airport project: Ahluwalia Contracts emerges lowest bidder for terminal contract
The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has declared Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Ltd. (ACIL) as the lowest bidder (L one bidder) for civil construction work of a new terminal building at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The firm placed a bid of Rs 893.48 crore.
The proposed new terminal building will be spread across an area of 75,220 sqm. It will be equipped with 8 aerobridges, 72 check-in counters, 14 security check counters, and 6 baggage claim belts. As per the tender, the work has a 3-year completion deadline.
