Bengaluru Metro: BMRCL plans yellow line extension with 9 new stations
The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) plans to extend the Yellow Line from Bommasandra to Attibele, taking the corridor closer to the border with Tamil Nadu. This 10.5 km extension will include 9 new stations, for which BMRCL has completed a feasibility study.
The 9 new stations will be:
- Narayana Institute of Cardiac Sciences
- Chandapura Circle
- Hale (Old) Chandapura
- Thirumagondanahalli
- Balagaranahalli
- Attibele Industrial Area
- Yadavanahalli
- Attibele
- Attibele Terminal
BMRCL has received approval from the Karnataka government and will soon float a tender to prepare the Detailed Project Report (DPR).
