Jindal Stainless plans a capex of Rs 2,600 crore
Steel sector major Jindal Stainless has planned a capital expenditure (CAPEX) of Rs 2,600 crore in FY27. The firm is looking to expand downstream processing capacity and strengthen its integrated manufacturing network.
The firm will be making this investment with a target of achieving sales volumes of 3.5 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) by FY29. Rs 900 crore has been committed towards expanding cold-rolling operations at Hisar and Kharagpur, while new HRAP and CRAP facilities are being developed at Jajpur.
Further, the firm is progressing with plans for a greenfield stainless steel manufacturing facility in Maharashtra.
