Shipping Ministry approves internal flyover at Visakhapatnam port
Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways has approved the construction of an internal flyover at Visakhapatnam Port. This proposed 3.584 km elevated corridor will connect Convent Junction with the Dock Area to improve cargo evacuation and reduce congestion.
The project is estimated to cost Rs 334.89 crore, and the period of completion of the work would be 30 months from the start of work.
