Semicon 2.0: Syrma SGS plans to invest Rs 1,000 crore in semionductor projects
Mumbai-based Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) Syrma SGS has plans to invest Rs 1,000 crore under Semicon 2.0. The firm is targeting higher-value parts of the semiconductor supply chain rather than entering standalone chip assembly and testing.
As per the firm, the board-approved Rs 1,000-crore fundraising proposal to raise capital if a suitable semiconductor project emerges. The firm is in talks with several global companies as it evaluates investments.
