Maha Metro plans light metro network in Nashik with an investment of over Rs 14,000 crore
The Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MAHA-METRO) plans to develop a 58-km metro network in Nashik, also known as the Light Metro Network. The project is estimated to cost Rs 14,520 crore.
The project is part of the city’s draft Comprehensive Mobility Plan (CMP), and Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation (MMRCL) has proposed three corridors under the project. Work on these corridors is proposed to be executed in two phases.

Nashik Corridor Development Plan
Phase 1
- Gangapur Village – Nashik Road
- Length: 21.5 km
- Estimated Cost: ?8,770 crore
- Target: 2031
- Mumbai Naka – Pathardi Phata
- Length: 13.58 km
- Estimated Cost: ?2,000 crore
- Target: 2036
Phase 2
- Ambad – Nashik Airport
- Length: 23 km
- Estimated Cost: ?5,750 crore
- Target: 2046
Overall Project
